"Look Back in Anger" - John Osborne, "Saturday Night, Sunday Morning" - Alan Sillitoe and "Room At The Top" - Tom Braine. Also, certain subjects were broached such as in "Cathy Come Home" - Kenneth Loach, "A Taste of Honey" - Shiela Delaney and so on. Although a couple of the above were to set the pace for "things to come" and done in late 58/59 they were still very relevant.
