I think Ripley is genuine but that is just my opinion. I would hate to think that anything said in jest on here because you think someone is taking the p1ss could cause them to harm themselves.Is it worth the risk just for a laugh?

Some people look for help. It's difficult to know whether it's truth or not.

Some people want attention. Why post a thread if you don't want attention yourself. There's plenty people post thread after thread. They are attention seekers too then? Because you just posted two?

Sometimes it's best to give the benefit of the doubt. There are all kinds of people and lord knows some are in different frames of mind.

When someone is reaching out or asking for help, if one cannot be helpful to them in a positive way then it might best to not say something that might make their situation worst.
