When I needed my first bra, how come I showed off at school about getting my first bra and made sure my bra strap was showing yet when at home it was just pure embarrassment to even tell my mum I needed a bra.

Who would have thought this post could run so long? I thought it was for the ladies!! Who has been to work today - or are you all AT work?
Lewis's was great daffy but i also used to get a shock in there! Loved trying on all the wigs!!!!
Remember my school days and double maths.
Sitting behind a couple of girls and me and my mate ...pinging the girls sat in front , bra straps from behind.
Her yelp and silence when the teacher looked over.
errr Yes I was 14 at the time.
This was is 1979 ....I would probably have been put on the sex offenders register it happened in school now and she would get phycological counciling....How times have changed.

Even at 16, I didn't need a bra because I was so flat chested. I was mortified to be left behind, and bought my first one - a 30AA or something. It was like putting an eggcup against a wall - hillocks visible, but nothing underneath! When I finally made it to a 34, I felt "womanly", and after two children, I now feel totally endowed, as I've gone up to a 36!!!! Lol.
lol my first one at around 12 was just 2 triangles of fabric and yards of elastic, you just kinda wiggled into it and it had wee cute mice pic on! my dad once pretended to use it as an eyepatch and i was fuming with embarrassment
Awww - weeal - that made me burst out laughing, but i bet you felt terrible!! x
lol, I gave my mum a row for hanging it to dry with the other clothes and hid it after that

Poor weeal! isn't it funny how as children, we're sometimes embarrassed by seeing underwear on the line!!
Didn't want to leave this post on 69 - so will finish by telling you my 6 year old sons name for a bra which he made up all by himself. He has stopped calling it a lady vest. He now refers to them as:

Booby straps.

Do you think that he will start a new trend away from "lingerie"
