I can manage the eat less part of weight loss but, I just don't get the chance to do any more moving! I'm a student and I have to drive to college because it's just too far away from me. Not, I'm being lazy too far away, it is too far away to walk. When I get in from college, I either have to stay in and do college work, or go to work, which, admittedly, is not too far to walk. However, with this beautiful British rain we have, I just don't want to walk to work in the rain, work in wet clothes, and walk home in the rain again. I do plan to walk in the summer though!! How can I get myself moving more? Please don't think I'm making excuses.
I got myself a stepper (not too expencive these days) and when I'm watching TV I get on it! It really gets your inner core going. and if you watch one or two episoded of soap or friends etc... Thats almost an hour of excersize!
I know I'm doing it in fron of TV, but it's not all that different that being in gym and watching MTV!
I would suggest only driving half the way to college and walking the rest of the way. Alternatively get yourself an exercise dvd, yoga is good for weight loss.
Use stairs instead of lift.
Park your car a 30 min walk from college and walk from and to there.
Take a change of clothes with you in a waterproof bag, if it is raining.
Use the bike instead of the car.
Go for a 30 minute walk or run before going to bed.
Walk to the shops.
