pregnant?

can anyone tell me if pain when passing stools (sorry to be graphic) could be a sign of pregnancy? i am about 11 days late for my period but 2 pregnancy tests have showed negative (the last one i done 4 days ago) i've no other symptoms. when is it best to do another test? i'm normally quite regular, but no sign this time.

Hi jessy. I would try another pregnancy test first thing in the morning as this is when your hormone levels are highest. If this still shows negative then I would see your doctor. Thinking about it, it may be a good idea to see your doctor anyway as it is something that should be checked out. You could always try phoning NHS Direct too as they will offer advice 0845 4647. If the pain is slightly to the left or right that can be a sign of chlamydia/p.i.d. Best get to the doctors.

Sounds like you have been eating alot of junk food!
Do your nipples feel tender? Thats usually an early sign of pregnancy. Do we congratulate or commiserate ,if you are pregnant?

thank you, i will do another test first thing in the morn. if no joy, will contact nhs. we've been trying for nearly 2 years, so fingers crossed x

jessy, pain when passing stools could be caused by dehydration. Up your water intake to help with that.

I cant recall it being a symptom of pregnancy but everyone gets different symptoms or none at all.
