I have four friends that are getting married this year which is obviously great news. Though this means 4 stag do's to attend. I simply cant afford to go to them all so what do i do? I am bound to offend somebody. Most of them are Stag weekends which will cost a few hundred pounds minimum. They are all good friends which i care a lot about, so how do i choose which ones to go to??? Or should i not go to any?? HELP!!

Do all 4 stags know each other? If so then don't go to any and say you can't afford to go to them (don't forget you will be going to the weddings anyway, so outfit, present, travel accomodation etc will cost a fair bit).
If they don't know each other, think about which you'd prefer to go on and make a choice! Or again, don't go to any.
Easy answer for me but I guess it's a lot harder for you to be that simplistic about it. Don't envy you at all love!

Thanks Helliebobs, but they all know each other so no way of blagging it really? Most of them will be at each others weddings. I'm thinking its all or nothing? Or maybe go to one night of the weekend for each stag? Though that means a lot of travelling for one night. Ah crap, i'm stumped!
Get yourself a credit card hun - you only live once and personally I would prefer to did knowing that I owed someone money rather than leave it to someone.

Go for it. You only live once.

Wear the same outfit for each wedding (just change the shirt, tie and button hole each time), this will save you money). Re: present, that's a womans job so leave it to the love of your life to buy.

Saving money all round honey.

Have a Great Time at ALL OF THEM.

hi

ma donna

how u doin?
If they all know eachother why cant you suggest a weekend away with all of them. Joint stag dos
Got married back in December 1951. No such thing in those days as stag and hen parties. Was working the evening before the marriage, then had a three day honeymoon in Southend-on-Sea. Not much spare cash about in those days.

Joint stags would have been good but they all arranged separate ones and they are not all near each other date wise or location.

Donna, i like your attitude as that would be fun but if i do that i may be paying it off still when i get married one day!!
Are you the only one in this situatio or are there others that cant afford it?
Question Author
Well i am the only one thats has expressed any concern so far, though i'm sure there are others that may have similar views. I guess the main problem i have is that i want to go to a couple as to not go to any would seem completely wrong. I'm thinking it might just have to be the two cheapest, that way i dont have to make any stupid excuses up and can just say sorry but its too expensive?
Yes Hudskov, you might very well still be paying it for a while - but listen to me boy - YOU ARE A LONG TIME PUSHING UP THE DAISIES. Take the Credit Card Insurance with the Insurance because the day after the 4th Wedding and Stag do you could be hit by a bus and be BROWN BREAD !

I am going on holiday this year - A BIGGIE with my little daughter who is 10. We are off to New York for a few days, then up to Niagra Falls, then Snow Tubling in the Upstate Mountains of New York, a few more days shopping in New York and saling back on the QUEEN MARY 2 ! I ve been direct debiting the payment monthly for 18 months and am going to get a 5 grand loan over 3 years to SPEND SPEND SPEND when I get there.

Go on Boyo ! You SERIOUSLY ONLY LIVE ONCE !
