Re: Wagon Lit

One may be "on the wagon"

Lit is French for bed - somewhere to rest

A Wagon-Lit is a sleeping cariage on a (usually) Continental Train service.

So, continental travellers may be put on a wagon lit for some rest
Tizzi: "cobblers"; cobbers with an l (for pounds), giving people who use a last in their work
thanks for that
can you explain TACOMA please? dont understand
a second earthmover tipped over in us port

a = A
mo = second (as in "wait a mo")
cat = earthmover (short for Caterpillar, a brand name like CB)

turned over means backwards so becomes TAC OM A, which is a US port.
fantastic I love to get the reasoning behind the answer. Thx
