What is the name (as used in English) of the chinese condiment which blends the basic tastes of Chinese foods i.e sweet, savoury, sour, bitter and salty. Can anyone give me a definite clue to this one please? I have an answer which is a six letter word but I am not too sure if it is the right definition. Many thanks

Thanks Mazie!
Well done!

Another "freebie" answer given away to everyone!

Some of the entrants took ages to find this (on their own) and now you've just blown it.

Thanks a bunch!

The artist was knighted in both Spain and England and the poet had a connection with Goldilocks. Let me know how you get on with that.
Javert..................BINGO !!!!! Amazing how a change of direction can make all the difference. Though looking at the resulting answer I can't see how I would ever had got it without your input. Thanks a lot !!
Amazing what a couple of good CLUES will do.
I do apologies for posting the link. I should have read the question with a little more care. Sorry Javert x

I am still having problems with Q85. I cannot find anywhere that C was a pathologist but the other option , W, does not seem 100% correct. Any ideas?
I'm stuck in the same spot as you, Javert. All there is now me thinks is the hope of some divine inspiration!!
