I heard this a couple of hours ago and stuck Sky News on. The Sky journalist actually walked into the Matthew's house uninvited asking for an interview! I couldn't believe the cheek of it. He was sent away with a flea in his ear!

Anyway, fantastic news. I'm sure there's more to come on this one though. Her mother was convinced someone she knew was holding Shannon "to get back at her".

Seems a 39 year old guy's been arrested in connection with it. Just read about it in The Times online, so I expect it's true.
If it is, I have to agree with you that it's not the result I was expecting either, but I'd be delighted to hear that she really IS safe and well.

Yes meglet, I had a feeling all along that Shannon's mother either had suspicions, or knew something more than was being let on. Whatever, it's cause for the family to celebrate.
