how long for 1st class

i posted a parcel last friday 1st class and it still hasnt arived at its destination.
How long should it take? First time ive posted anything like this so im not sure if its normal or i should start thinkiing it aint getting there at all now ? :-(

Oh, and you can't report it missing until 15 days after you sent it. Well you can report it, just they won't investigate it. Can't remember if that's 15working days or 15days straight though.

I hate Royal Mail, I regularly have to ring them at work because they constantly mess up with out post. You'd would've been better with a pigeon Jules :(

Contact the local Royal Mail delivery office and ask them if it is there awaithing collection.

A posties should leave a card if they try to deliver something and can't. but they don't always do that!

Yep, it is, bobs, unfortunately- they can't turn their stamps back, either. There are no flamin' perks to my mum's job at all. :(

Julie - don't be disheartened! My card arrived this morning - it was sent on 2nd March AND there was twenety pounds in it I didn't know about! There was 6p underpaid on postage and we didn't get a card through the door so didn't know. Fingers crossed for you! X
