Phenging Your Ewitt
9 Answers
"To thee I phenge my ewitt, and by this sword ...... "
Part of an inscription scratched on a broken medieval urn found in the ruins of a Stoke On Trent bingo hall.
Was phenging your ewitt a pagan or Christian practice, and what do you think the rest of the phrase might have said or suggested?

I think you only got one star wiz cos you were trying to cheat.
I'd only called one number! Another 3 and you could have had the corners, there's not even enough for a sweat there!
You'd be a nightmare on the link.
Can't you tell I once dated a bingoer....
I'll never forget it she came in this night and I said to her "have a good night?"
"Yeah" she replied "I had a couple of sweats" my face must've been a picture until she filled me on the correct usage of Bingoese
