Timing belt on 1995 escort 1.6 16valve engine
3 Answers
The bearing in the timing belt tensioner collapsed and threw all the timing out. I need to fit new tensioner and re-time the engine to see if anymore damage done?
Can anyone advise as to best way to do this?
Many thanks in anticipation.

But if you succedd use new belts, tensioner, Check the Valves, I would also get the head skimmed, When all back in place, Use Summer/Winter Anti Freeze, Check the Timing & check again, & Again, Before start up check for leaks, Good Luck.
