plasma/lcd tv's

can anyone tell me if plasma or lcd tv's are high definition ready ?

i know that sky wont start broadcasting some things in hd until 2006 but wondered if tv's were one step ahead.

also,is lcd better than plasma ? i take it that it is as the technology for the bigger screens is newer.if so are plasma's days numbered already ?!

There are some HD TV's (LCD & Plasma) around, but they are pretty pricey.

 

LCD screens are best up to about 32 inch and then plasma screens are better for anything above that (at least in my opinion).
