hi my dad is 70 31 march he is disabled and has a lot of health problems was just wandering what to buy the man who has everything i have a sister whom will be sharing the cost we are taking him 4 a meal and putting them up in a hotel for the night just cannt think of anything else special pthank you in advance

Places like 'The Deep' in Hull and aquariums around the country have access for disabled people although may not be able to visit it all.

For my mother-in-laws 70th we bought her a bird feeder (one of the poles from which you can hang feeders) plus big bags of peanuts and seeds to fill the feeders. She's had an awful lot of pleasure out of it. Check out the 4 feeder pole on this page

We got a digital photo frame for my husband's Nana for her 80th. If you get a big enough memory card, you can scan old photos which bring back cherished memories. That way the photos are always there without the need to look them out from albums etc. Nana really likes it. She has health problems and doesn't get out much. When there isn't much on the telly she puts it on and really enjoys the memories.
