As you may know I am a complete music snob. If I do not like an artist that is pretty much it as far as I am concerned.

I openly admit to not being a great fan of female led music (I like Lily Allen and some 60's chicks, but not much else) and I totally abhor anything MOBO wise or dance orientated.

However, I am totally drawn to Beverley Knight's "The Queen of Starting Over". It is so damn catchy and good, I may even listen to a few more tracks by her.

What singer or song has taken you away from your normal comfort zone?

SRH...I have been quite 'into' World music for a while....I like Rodrigo et Gabriella-wonderful young Mexican guitarists(their version of Stairway to Heaven is mind-blowing) and the Gotan Project-electronic Tango(has been used in a number of commercials),then there is all the stuff that has come out of Cuba recently.Oh dear-I am babbling-lol
Ahh SRH just reminded me of Jeff Buckley's 'Lilac Wine', scurries off to find it now
