According to the Sunday Times Rich List in 2004, he was worth about �760 in 2004. He is certainly richer than that now - let's say that investments and royalties have increased his fortune by a modest 12% (at 3% a year). That means he would be worth around �850 now.

And if she came away with �24million, then she would've got about 2.9%.

She has been paid half a million pounds for every month she was married. Nice work if you can get it. And I believe it was work for her. She set out to marry him dumping her previous fiance ( who she had dumped her previous fiance for) because Paul was a better bet.

It isn't always possible to know the sex of contributors on here but guys , how would you like it if you found out your wife was a hooker a couple of years into your marriage? Or girls, how would your husband feel?

What about all the lies she told about her past? The way she deceived her first husband? The way she stole from a guy who had gone out of his way to help her?The way she turned her friend's story around so it seemed it happened to her? I admit she has a good few problems she needs help with but a lot of stories have been retracted, so I don't believe all the press. Try googling his faults, they are there too!

Also people are comparing what she has been awarded to how we would love to have that kind of money. In the world of the celeb, it's not much!

I think as has been pointed out by sp1814 - it boils down to the fact that the man is a Beatle. I had this discussion with some people in my office a few weeks ago and there was a definite divide between myself (age 25) and another colleague who is female and 32, and three men who are aged 53, 55 and 56, two of whom have been divorced in the past. One of the guy's closing arguement was "But he's a Beatle!".
The female colleague and I just could not see his point, yes he is / was a Beatle - big deal! I think you generation, sex andlife experience will determine on which side of the fence you fall with this one, but I really don't know what the fuss is about as far as Heather is concerned - frankly, I wish they'd all bog off and report some real news!
