Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Hearts won the Scottish Cup in 1906, 1956 and 2006 (plus a few other times) so might be a possibility?

Thank you mike b - I think you must have got it. Reading the quiz more closely, the answer is a book title from the Oxford World's Classics series, so "Heart of Midlothian" would fit. Well done and thank you again!

You're welcome, mrs p. I only got round to looking in the Supplement yesterday. However, while checking out one of the questions today, I found myself on a website where some clever ****** has posted the entire answer list, which rather spoils things. Best of luck though, if you're going to enter.

I probably won't enter bcs I don't twant to win - we have far too many books at home and can't part with any of them to make space. But the research is fun; you either know the answers or have a gut feeling about them, or they are a complete blank (Qs12 & 13 in particular, but it's early days).
It's a pity that someone feels the need to show off by posting all the answers.
