If  I owned a "Cinema"-themed restaurant, my set menu would be:-

Duck Soup
- - -
Jurassic Pork
- - -
Cassatablanca

What should I put on my  A La Carte?

How do people get to their answers? Do they rack their heads for food and then get films out of them, or the other way round, or run both at once. When answering, please say if you're a man or a woman. Thanks.

Hi, Slimfandango.  I'm male.  Jurassic Pork just popped itself into my head and most of the rest started with the film title.

I'm very glad I asked the question there've been so many brilliant postings.  Thank you very much everyone!  And three more for the pot.

Citizen Kale
The Big Chilli
Pie shops of the Caribbean the Curse of the Black Pudding

I suspected it would be a man who would come up with 'Jurassic Pork' - after all isn't it the real title of a movie with very little storyline and alot of naked flesh?

Anyhow, in answer to the previous question, I'm a girl and found the titles of the Oscar winners before I planned the meal part. I now have more ideas thanks to this thread for other dinner parties.

Any thoughts on dishes to go with a Bridget Jones theme apart from 'Blue Soup' for starters of course?

Cheers
