when you were a kid, which was you favourite party game?

I used to love the one where you had to eat chocolate with a knife and fork with hats and gloves on, cant quite remember how it went now.

Were you a winner or like me, always lost the chair in the 2nd round cause you werent forceful enough, or you were out of musical statues cause you giggled or you just danced so mental that you couldnt stop whe the music did (you know the sort of kid)?
The one who the music ALWAYS stopped just as you'd passed the parcel?? lol

Oh happy days, sad that the kids seem to go for the sort of parties now that involve anything but the good old fashioned party games.
Oh and ladies, did you have a "party dress"? what was it like!
Mine was long, with a yellow rose pattern on with a green velvet sash! OMG! Did i just admit that????? i have a pic somewhere lol (it was nice, honest)

something where it was just chance that you one like pass the parcel. I was never any good at any sporty games :-(

Oooh and my party dress was a dress with a tight black topt built into a big skirt with white dots on. Kind of like a rock and roll dress

LOL! I was like you, hun! The only ever thing I won was Sleeping Lions, I was great at that game because I'm not ticklish! :)

I hated Pass the Parcel, though. :( I never once won it and most times when I got to unwrap it, it was the layer that the mum had forgotten to put anthing in. :'( Do you remember everyone passing it around in slow motion and snatching it back when the music stopped? :)

Ooh, I had loads of party dresses, I loved them! My sister and I would always have the same one, but in a different colour. It's recently come to light that she always wanted the colour I had and vice versa, but I remember us winding each other up about having the best one at the time! :)
