hi Dakota and tigger, yes, it gives you a warm glow just watching it.

Petal_flower, I have to disagree, there is romance nowadays. unfortunaltely is seems to revolve around wearing a hoodie and how many asbo's one has. lol
The whole Pride & Prejudice thing is brilliant. The book was voted 2nd best of all time. It missed out on the top spot which went to Lord of the Rings.

I'd like to see how well Lord of the Rings fairs when it's 200 odd years old.
Hello and good evening ladies and all!

All of Jane Austen novels are lovely stories. I've read them all, and seen all their movies. One of my favourite is Love and Friendship.

hello to all who replied

I did love the BBC adaptation with Colin Firth. He made a lovely Mr Darcy
Although, did Jane Austen just adapt an already well known story? Who can say?
-- answer removed --
No, never have. Sorry!!!
I saw that version IAP. I agree its not that good. It doesn't have the same feel to it as the TV and current film adaptations.
