Can anyone remember the film about an astronaught who has an accident filming the sun and ends up with powers whenever his eyes are exposed to the sun?

Yeah I can remember that film as well. It was called something like the 'The sun man" or somwhting like that. As I remember he dies in the movie from too much exposure to the sun.

I thought it was called Northstar but I have looked and I can't find it.. I think maybe you are thinking of Starman with Jeoff Bridges?
