If someone walks out of a job (well not exactly walks out, actually has given 2 weeks notice) and they want to register for contributions based JSA (which they were receiving previously), is it correct that you won't get any benefits for 6 weeks because you've left work voluntarily? Do they take anything else into consideration, ie the reasons you left (this reason being work was so stressful it was causing illness)??
no you will have to wait 6 weeks, and then it will take longer for your claim to be processed. if you get signed off sick with stress then you may have more of a chance of claiming, but why dont you stay in your job and look for another job? or is the stress due to being out of work for a while and then going back to work?
Nope, it was the way the place was run! Everything at a million miles an hour and jobs being stopped half way through to start another one - and then the same thing happening with that one etc etc.
