My Mum has cut my Dads hair for years and they plan to continue with this set-up. However after the last cut my mum put the doo-dah that she uses to cut his hair somewhere safe - and now cannot find it! Senior moment!
Anyway, I am trying to replace the tool that she uses to cut his hair. She has no idea what it is called but it is a flat device with a blade at both ends. It is not electric and it works by thinning out the hair as it is drawn through the hair like a comb.
If that sounds familiar to anyone and you might know where/how to buy a replacement, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks.

I know that they did them years ago - maybe remington?- Billy Connelly did a great bit in one of his shows about these - along with other types of things like the giant tartan heated slippers!

Good luck.
