What is going off?
Why is Gail in a nice private room in the hospital, when some have to be in mixed wards?
No wonder when her Doctor popped in to see her, she congratulated the NHS on the treatment she had received.

I doubt if she would have been in hospital this long either. More likely that she would have been on a bed in a corridor for a night or two and then sent home.
Well, Corrie seems to be totally out of touch these days and this just proves it.

Do Doctors and Nurses in "real" A&E Departments discuss their Private Lives while treating Patients?
If you wander outside does a Member of Staff follow you to give you a shoulder to cry on? CERTAINLY NOT in my A&E Department.!!

Hellie you lucky lady - my mum had four transfusions the other week on a shared ward!
I agree AOG, I did wonder why Gail had her own room, and also why she has been in hospital so long. And (maybe this is just sad of me to notice) but why she had blue and yellow bedsheets, because whenever I have visited anyone in hospital they have been white as standard? I guess she could have taken her own bedding in with her, but seems a bit daft to me.
Oh, and she sent David down to the nurses station to get a vase for her flowers. Because I am sure they have nothing better to do than tend to her sodding flowers - she works for the NHS (ok, ok, I do realise it's not real) she should know how damn pushed they are!

Since when did the NHS use colourful duvet covers with matching pillowcases? Incidentally the same bedding Sarah had on her bed when she was in and she too had her own room. When I worked for the NHS it was cellular blankets and white sheets, so they could be boil washed and believe me they needed it a lot of the time.
Flowers? Most hospitals ban flowers now. Mainly because of the bacteria they produce and also nurses haven't got time to change the water.
A pot plant is allowed if you take it home with you.
And Gail wouldn't be tucked up in bed all this time, its important to get people up and moving as soon as poss because of the risk of thrombosis,
The researchers should do their job properly. DOH!!
