counselling

I am thinking of my future career and would like to be a counsellor of some kind - does anyone have any experience of this?

I'd love to do it. I work with a couple of counsellors and one of my friends is one, it's a very worthwhile and rewarding job. Can make a lot a money too. I've asked them about it before and they've told me it really costs a lot of money to get qualified etc. The beginners course is fairly cheap and you can do it at nightschool or college for around �200. It gets really expensive when you go for your diploma though. I'd do it tomorrow if I had the luxury of being able to leave my dead end job.
