On your knees

Ok , not literally , but , hey , have you ever noticed your knees ? I knocked mine on the edge of the bed whilst putting the clean linen on . On looking at the huge bruise appearing I couldn't help but laugh and think of chapel hat pegs ....talk about knobbly !!! :-D xxxxx

I have a bed with big square ends that jut out. I must bang my thigh on it about 3 times a week. And I bruise easily. I once had to explain this to the gynaecologist. Who I don't think believed me!

I bruise easily too and I am always banging into things. In one of our rooms at work we have tables with sharp corners and I hit my legs on them continually - I find bruises and can't remember where I did it though!

Hello theonlyone , I bruise easy too , I find ones I don't know where I got them , I'm on blood-thinners though and that makes you bleed easily .

We moved house just over a year ago and decided to be the removal people. Not the best idea we've ever had. My knees, thighs and arms were black and blue with bruises. My left knee was swollen with a chapel hat peg bruise too. Your post just reminded me of a childhood accident. I had a pony and it often refused to jump (as they do!) I went straight over her head and landed on an old fencing panel. The nail went right into my knee and as I stood the blooming nail was so far in that the panel lifted up with me. The tetanus jab hurt more than the nail!

I was chasing Mrs DP once (when I was much younger) when I ran into a door head first ( big flash and stars ) the bump on my head came up just like they do on Tom and Jerry cartoon's . It must have come out about a inch high .The awful thing was that I was starting a new job the next day . It was so embarrassing
