Nokia 5140

Several questions:

 i) How does the infrared work? I have tried to send an image to my 6100 but it doesn't work. I have both phones with IR turned on. Do I have to point them at each other? If so, which parts of the phones must be pointed at each other?

 ii) I have heard about Push To Talk, but there is no such option on my 5140. Can I set it up? Do I have to ring Orange to get it set up? And if I do get it, do I have to pay for the talk time or is it just like VHF radio?

All help gratefully received! The manual doesn't appear to answer these queries.

 

PS My 5140 is version 3.13, and my 6100 v 5.16, if that's any help!

Not sure about the Push to Talk option but as for your infra-red, yeah you need to point them together, about 5 centimetres apart. It is usually on the side of the phone and you can tell where it is because its just a black piece of plastic.

I have a 5140 and push to talk will be implemented next year, if you look at the right hand side of the phone there is a small piece of plastic where the IR is. Also push to talk will be the button at the side of the phone top which currently is a voice recorder.
