I live in Warrington, and my builder has just given me the Howdens catalogue, to choose my new kitchen. I don't know where they are, or if they have a site for the public, but I have heard good things about their kitchens.

howdens are pretty cheap they're here in the north east but they used to be trade only that may have changed now though

Howdens are a trade only company, I used to work for them. They have no website, but are owned by MFI, so some of the ranges obviously are the same.

You can get round the trade only thing by telling them you own houses and they'll usually deal with you. If you go in there as Joe Public, they'll happily give you a catalogue and show you stuff, but you won't get a price list out of them - they do have a full price list they can give out with stupid numbers on it, but no one has ever paid that much for anything in there.

Everything is discounted by at least 40% and kitchens are often reduced by 60% or more depending on how nice the builder is who goes in there.

There are definitely Howdens in the Northwest area, check your phone book

I didn't see your original question (it is normal to post replies under your original question so people don't get confused!), but I live in Preston and we have just had a Howdens fitted bedroom installed by a local builder. We couldn't have gone in and bought it ourselves, as as Cakeboy says they are trade only.

Howdens kitchens are based in liverpool just got ours from there, is trade only but bro in law is a builder :)

Howden kitchens are put bluntly, crap. My dad fitted one, which he didnt supply, but he spent more time repairing it than he did fitting it. you do get what you pay for
