I don't know why they say it was popular mainly in Scotland - I'm as far south as you can get and it was popular just about everywhere down here. Full story:

Sadly no you can't get it anywhere anymore.......I actually emailed Nestle direct a while back to try and discover if there was any left but no....but recently I have been told that another company has bought the rights to the "creamola" brands (custard as well) off of nestle so although not available now it might reappear in the future.
