car keeps cuttin out

i have a 1999 (t reg ) vauxhall cosa 16v automatic car starts fine then when driving will cuddenly cut out and cant get it started for about an hour. have changed plugs, cleaned air filter, and cleaned egr valve but problen persists any ideas

Daughter had a similar prob with her corsa turned out to be air flow meter 10 quid from scrappy cured it, easy to fit yourself. FT
