70's funk song title

hello im looking for the title of a 70's funk-soul song..
it is similar to the song 'gonna fly now'' from the soundtrack Rocky. I thought that it was in the movie but it is not. I listened to the soundtracks rocky i , rocky ii, and rocky iii but it wasnt there. perhaps it wasnt at all in the movie.

the song has a funk feeling many trompets - it sounds a bit like the song 'gonna fly now' but in the lyrics -the only that i remember- is some male vocals repeating the lyric "'cause I love you ,LOVE YOU, 'cause I need you,NEED YOU "

or something like that...
