China Doll

You can change white carnations by feeding them using dye in the water.

There were blue carnations at my mums wedding and that's becaue they used blue dye. I'm not sure if that's the same with lilac though. As I'm also not sure if this answer is entirely helpful!

Thanks china doll... i wonder if i can get purple/ lilac food colouring - il have to look

If you can't find purple food colouring, you can mix red and blue to get the shade. I've done similar with children using paint, but not sure if they last as long as with food colouring!
