Impressed

Have you ever been so impressed by a shop or site (where say you bought stuff) that you felt you had to write in or email them to let them know ?

I was today.... I bought a beautifully made bit of kit on line for one of my hobbies and was so impressed by the service that I have actually emailed them back to tell them so... It arrived in perfect nick (as you would expect), on time (ditto) but it is also really well made and looks gorgeous on one of my shelves. I had it delivered to my work address and everyone was ooohhhhing and ahhhhinnng at it when I opened the box - a lovely bit of hardwood and finely tuned brass metal gearing (hehe, I was the only one who knew what it actually could do.....) but we were all dead impressed by the craftmanship and finish on it.

So, have you ever thanked a site or shop for something way above the standard you expected (for the price) ?

yes I often have, but not for a while tho and I always tell them if I am pleased with either service/goods

i did it with shampoo years n years ago (remember Salon Selectives?) and they sent me loads of money off coupons for my nice letter lol

PS Topo - I have actually mastered that onion chopping thingy... lol... and have now progressed to peeling garlic cloves... more giggles ....

2 things I have bought in the last year, a buses dvd which really hit the spot for my son and a houdini suit so my other son would stop stripping off a night and spreading cr@p around his room.

both have been a godsend and I have thanked them for salvaging my sanity :D

Hi Juggy baby, so if you have got onion chopping to a fine art, i am assuming that this contraption has to be an onion reassembly facilitator, or ORF as we in the know say.

BTW J, i have been away for a few months working, i still don't have much time to get netting, thanks for your email that came ages afore i got to it.
