avg e-mail scanner

Hi, everyone. Have just downloaded avg free (version 7.5) which is cool and i have used before, but this time the e-mail scanner component keeps switching itself off. Are my settings a bit wonky or have others had the same problem? Please can someone help me resolve the problem, as it drives me batty to see that every time i switch my computer on, i have to go and fiddle with it. Cheers, stonekicker.

In Properties > Properties > Servers is the 'Server status' 'Active' for POP and SMTP?

ISTR that one of them wasn't by default after installation. Use 'Modify' to , er, modify.
