Nurburgring
Does anybody know what the chalk writing on the Nurburgring track is for? Also, considering most insurance companies exempt it (indirectly) from policies, can you turn up and drive round it without insurance.

As for insurance you can get one day policies from some companies to cover track days and the like.
Dont know about the chalk marks but I am pretty certain that you can actually buy insurance for the day when you get there. Just dont quote me on that.
You might be able to find a link to the track itself at the British Forces Germany site at www.bfgnet.de dont worry the site is in English.
