unfortunately these days, so many people seem to have a lack of consideration for others in these situations.
Once when we got to ASDA, this womam pulled into the mother and child space just as we were about to go in it with our young son. We sat there and stared at her and made her feel so uncomfortable that she backed out apologising, no sign of any child in her car!!!

Yes it is annoying but not as annoying as an able child hopping out the car with their lazy parent.
I thought they were -quite rightly wider -for ease of use for baby seats/pushchairs -some people take liberties and spoil it for everyone. Its not for parents and children-its for parents with very young babies and toddlers who are in seats and mum or dad have to get into the back to unbuckle them.
Loading bays dont bother me -in my town -there are no parking spaces -loading bays used once a week -at most takes up 3 spaces -I just park there -some of the shopkeepers have bollards when they expect a delivery -thats a good system
Disabled -dont get me started -my mother in law had one for her father who she visited once a month but she used it bloody daily long after he died -now that gets on my t!ts but then so does she !!!!!!!!!
I would never abuse a disabled space-tempting as it is sometimes when I just have to run into a shop !!
