hello i am thinking of mounting my flat sceen tv on wall i have a power point there but no tv connections the tv has built in digital freeview is it possible to use a remote wireless scart plug so as not to have leads on show from ntl box and view tv as well as record to dvd player

run a scart lead from the NTL box to the input scart on DVD then plug wireless scart sender into other scart socket on DVD and plug reciever into back off TV and should work fine. though without an aerial lead going to TV you won't be able to use freeview on it, and sorry to be picky but you can't record on a DVD player, assume you meant DVD recorder.
It is possible to connect a video sender between the two appliances but I don't see how you can avoid having cables on show, unless the video receiver, scart and power cable can all be concealed behind the screen.
