What colours go with khaki in a bedroom?
12 Answers
Just finished painting my bedroom in a kahki & cream scheme. (2 walls in Johnstones Mistetoe coloured paint which is a lightish khaki and the other 2 walls in Cream). Any suggestions what colour bedlinen & curtains would go with this fairly neutral looking scheme??

Pink absolutely goes with cream and Khaki, because these colours are found in nature. At the moment, my bedroom's in a pastel shade of shell pink and cream, and I have a fab black velvet duvet cover on the bed, and matching cushions on two chairs. The carpet's in cream - and even though I say it myself, it looks beautiful when you walk in.

If your ever doing a room completely i always tear pics from mags, or colour cards, fabric's and do a scrap page to give me an ldea of the look and colours i take it with me when i choose items. I used to work with someone who worked in the pub industry and used to be involved in the renovating of pubs and they always did boards with all the ideas on,
What sort of atmosphere do you want?
How big is the room?
If you want a really calm tranquil atmosphere, cream bed linen, duvet cover and curtains will make it seem lighter and more spacious.
If you want something more dramatic, shades of brown, taupe or olive will give it character, but possibly make it look smaller.
When I refurbished our spare bedroom I opted for cream carpets, bed linen, and curtains with white accessories. I wondered whether it would look boring but the room now looks twice its previous size and I occasionally find myself popping in there for a few moments just to enjoy its soothing atmosphere.
