Years ago, when we moved Nan and Granddad into their flat, we open Granddad's cupboard to find a box (actually an old drawer) full of folded paper bags and bits of string - because they might come in useful.
I can't talk. We were clearing out an understairs cupboard the other week and found a box full of mugs that had been left there since we moved in six years ago. A couple of the mugs had clearly been thrown into the box just before it went onto the van, because they still had dried up coffee dregs in the bottom!
