sell or rent

I am planning to move away for at least 6 months in a bid to find a tranquil environment but not sure I will be ready to sell straight away, do you know what my best options would be regarding my property and properties to rent in rural places

use a letting agent to rent your property out. they take a small fee but they have th e hassle regarding your tennant.

again use a letting agent in the area your looking at to find a new place to rent.

I would rent it out. The market is pretty dire at the moment for selling.

I've moved out of my flat and in with my boyfriend and will use a Lettings agency to find the tenant. This will cost 10% plus VAT of the annual rental income. I will manage it myself, saving on further fees.

thanks you have both been very helpfull, I too will be moving in with my boyfriend but dont want to lose my independance and also my son is a complete pain at 19years old and standing on his own feet for a while will give him the kick up the rear end that he needs.
But I really need a break from all the day to day hassles
