There is a black and white advert with middle aged people dancing who is the music by? Is it Eva Cassidy? Think the advert might be for life insurance or something similar!

fields of gold is the song on the cancer research ad (the magic mirror one) the ad you describe sounds like the colgate 40+ ad were the music is "the first time ever i saw your face" by roberta flack

I think the answer you are looking for is the Roberta Flack song "The first time I saw your face" - and i think it is on a Toothpaste advert... very similar to Eva Cassidy
