Some good news at last! - Burrell to be investigated for perjury

Paul Burrell, the former butler to Diana, Princess of Wales, could be extradited to Britain from his home in Florida to face perjury charges after he was branded a liar by Lord Justice Scott Baker.

And because perjury is a criminal offence - carrying a maximum sentence of ten years imprisonment - the Met could extradite Mr Burrell, 49, from Florida, where he now lives.

Hi everyone, it seems that most people are all in agreement that Paul Burrell is an idiot who deserves to be locked up, but if I remember correctly the royal family was quite happy for him to carry the can for the 'fheft' of some of Diana's items thqt in fact she had agreed that he could keep. They only stepped forward to admit that he was given them legally when it looked like he was going to give evidence against them in court that would have proved embarrasing for them. Therefore if that had been me and I thought that they would have left me to rot in jail when I was innocent, I would have been quite happy to make as much money out of them as possible. Therefore, I have never seen what he is doing as unforgivable. Forgive me if what I am stating is not true, I will be quite happy for someone to correct me, but will be interested to hear others views on my thoughts.
