Can anyone tell me the meaning of the above in the sentence:- The components of the Community idea of the rule of law are found to be the interpretation of the Community itself as a Rechtsgemeinschaft.  Thank you.

'Rechts' as the first element in a German word often means 'legal' and one meaning of 'Gemeinschaft' actually is 'community'. Combined, therefore...'legal community'.
