Piercings...opinions please!

Am I too old, at 30, to get a new facial piercing? I really fancy getting my lip done (with a labret or a vertical labret), but it seems only teenagers and emos have them nowadays...I'm not particularly "rock and roll", if you know what I mean...lol

Well thanks Dave, as it happens I do have quite a bit of self respect! I just don't see it as being any different from a new drastic haircut. I just fancy something new, maybe I'm having an early mid-life crisis! lol

30 isnt old to get a piercing, do you have any other piercings ?
Would it effect your job etc if you got such a visable piercing?
i say go for it , it isnt permanent if you dont like it you take it out simple as that , its less hassle than getting a drastic haircut because that takes a lot longer to fix if you arent happy.
