City Break ?

Fancy a change -done Amsterdam Barca Hamburg Milan and Copenhagen a few times and loved them Fancy something different -Poland or such like -pref no more than 3hrs( ish) flying time from Scotland. Any ideas?

PS-I know its been asked before but theres always something new popping up !

Check out Salzburg, Austria. Beautiful city and unbelievable scenery. Terrific local beer, too! Just booked our fourth short break there. Flight time is 2 hours from Stansted so within your 3 hours from Scotland.

Berlin? Great place. Krakow and Prague are good. And you're not that far from Tallinn and Vilnius. (Or Riga, but that's much bigger but not so interesting IMHO.)

Would recommend Krakow and Riga but not Vilnius. How about Helsinki, I had a great time last year and will go back. Even Istanbul is do-able in a weekend.

poland or maybe hungary or even czeck republic they are all great places and not expensive

Was at my friends last night and she had been to Kracow and Warsaw -she thought Kracow for a hop skip and a jump was fantastic.

Thank you all for your help -you have all given me food for thought so guess its down to direct flights from Scottish Airports -will keep you posted.
