Well, Holst wrote the 'Planet Suite'
Mars is a planet.
Ceres is a 'dwarf planet'
Vulcan is a V-bomber and was thought to be a planet that existed between Mercury and the Sun. It certainly does exist in Star Trek as it's where Mr Spock comes from.
So, maybe the connection is PLANETS ???

Four of the twelve Dii Consentes were Jupiter , Mars , Ceres and Vulcan .

Thought planets but couldn't connect Vulcan. Will use it now though.

They are also Roman gods - I vow to thee my country was about Jupitor in the planet suite..
