iv been given a qoute from the case of Chichester Diocesan Fund v Simpson [1944] the quote is below

"I am convinced that the time has come when modern minds imbued with modern ideas should attempt to achieve a clear, workable and comprehensive definition of what is meant by charitable"


i need to consider to what extent if any that i consider that charities act 2006 has achieved the above objectives

I think you are being asked whether the new act has given us a clearer, comprehensive and workable definition of a charity. So you should summarise the changes and conder whether the overall effect is to make the definition (a) clearer and (b) comprehensive, and (c) whether it's a workable definition
