As an addenda, The 1001 carpet cleaner was advertised at one point by a very intense little bloke called Cyril Lord who had a carpet shop empire (a bit like carpet world) not long after he went bust. It always made me laugh, I don't know why.
Wasn't "Ready Brek" for kids with no coats? It made them glow in the morning as if they were radioactive.

cyril lords carpet factory was no more than 2 miles from my house..twas the largest red brick building in europe and covered an area of 14 acres...it's just been demolished to make way for a sewage works....what do i remember??
