I have asthama which has worsened a little lately.  Usually I would only use a ventolin inhaler when I needed it but have been using a steroid inhaler for a couple of weeks.  I have always taken any painkillers, nurofen, ibruprofen before when I've had a headache, cold, hangover (!) etc. but I understand now that when asthamatic you should only take a certain type of painkiller?  Can anyone shed light on this? Thanks.
