Went to the Alexadria palace anitques fair in North London.
It's a 90 minute drive from where I live.
Good morning buying and sold a few bits also ...
Then went to Southend and had fish and chips and Rosses ice cream for desert. Then a 2 hour back home to Sunny Hampshire. M25 was very wet and busy ...
Had the fun of filling the car up with diesel at �1.18.9 per litre !!!! �65 to fill up my Honda CRV ...makes you drive more slow....manage to get 45mpg ...

Ever watched a new car devalue ? I do 13,000 miles per year. When I had a second home (Cottage in Cornwall) , I was doing 40,000 miles per year ...work also involved the car. However in those days my job paid all my fuel costs ...now that was a perk :-)
At the antiques fair ..I picked a nice Keith Murray vase ...straw coloured bomb vase ...not bad price ...also a job lot of old lady bird books ...12 of them ...got them for �15 ...Will be able to sell one of them on e-bay for �12 ...so shouls show a profit ..dont collect books ..will keep the Keith Murray vase however

Still I dont smoke or drink too much these days ...so I need to give the goverment tax somehow.
Dont think that people know that with oil at $110 per barrell and the price is here to stay ..check out the oil futures prices ...Like anyone is interested in that kind of stuff ...
Anyway everything makes it way to the shop by trucks that run on diesel ...watch the prices rise in the shops ,...
